This web site is the handy-work of Ned U. Blinger of Reno, Nevada, U.S.A.

Ned along his wife Ima, own and manage one of the last remaining Nauga ranches in North America. With Nauga ranching being what it is these days, Ned has plenty of time on his hands to maintain this web site.

Although once in high demand, use of their hides has declined over the the past decade. Things were just fine until that snooty Ricardo Montalban went on TV in the 1980's and blabbed about "Rich Corinthian Leather".

Nauga ranchers could not organize or raise enough capital to counter the ensuing media blitz and sales suffered. Most of the ranches were lost to the government or bought up by Del Web and turned into "Retirement Communities". Some ranchers were successful converting their stock to Ostrich, Catfish, or Chinchilla, but most just gave up and became Am-Way salesmen.

But thanks to the hard work and dedication of the Blingers and others like them, the mighty Nauga has not vanished or been placed on the Endangered Species List.
